CRM is a big user of SMS services, so it’s good to see that Bulletin has partnered up with OSS Groups BusApps team and integrated our messaging gateway into SugarCRM.

SugarCRM is the industry-leading web-based CRM, used by nearly two million users worldwide, named as a Visionary in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant, and rated #1 in Customer Satisfaction by PCMag readers over those from large vendors like Microsoft, Oracle, and Salesforce. Sugar is used by major organisations like IBM, Audi, HTC, Thomas Cook, Reebok, & Virgin Mobile. In New Zealand, users include Lockwood Homes, Smart Trade, Manuka Health and Tru-Test.

SugarCRM uses an open-source technology stack, and offers both on-site and cloud-based usage options, with simple web service integration options. Sugar also offers clear, predictable pricing, with no hidden fees or forced upsells to more expensive editions.

OSS Group’s Business Applications team is Sugar’s Advanced Partner in New Zealand, and was awarded Sugar’s Accelerated Growth Award for fastest growing partner in the ANZ region.

OSS Group’s BusApps team has developed an SMS integration module for SugarCRM, which uses Bulletin.Net’s SMS services. This Sugar Module enables users to send and track individual SMS messages to Contacts and Leads directly from the CRM, and to send SMS messages in bulk to Target Lists, for informational or service purposes. Every SMS message’s status is shown within the CRM through stages from clicking send to read receipt, so that users know when their messages have been sent and read. The SMS module also handles inbound reply SMS messages and processes them back into the same module (Contact, Lead, etc) as the original message.
